FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's a Green Product?

The EPA is currently reviewing the way third parties will be able to carry the “Green“ label on disinfectants. The EPA policies at this point do not allow “green claims" to be placed directly on any of the disinfectant product labels .

What's the difference between a cleaner and a disinfectant?

A cleaner is not registered with the EPA and cannot make public health claims on their labels such as killing germs or having any anti-microbial action (aka disinfecting properties).

Is the disinfectant you use safe for my children and pets?
Yes! When it dries it oxidizes to a salt so unless there’s an allergy to salts it is perfectly safe.

How long do we have to be out of our home or office / when can we return?
You can return to your home or office within 30 minutes of us fogging and applying disinfectant to the space.

What is the advantage of using a fogger?
It takes just a few minutes for a fogger to create a very fine mist to treat ceilings, walls, floors and other objects. And an electrostatic fogger adheres to every inch of a surface rapidly. Meaning we are in and out in no time - while still providing outstanding results

Is the disinfectant you use toxic?
All disinfectant products are put through rigorous testing by the EPA to prove their efficiency and measure of toxicity. As part of this evaluation process products are assigned to a toxicity category. The categories range from category 1 (highly toxic) to category 4 (no exposure warnings required on the label) our disinfectant received an EPA category 4 rating for all exposure routes with the exception of mild eye irritation.

Are these disinfectants safe to use in our kitchen?
The disinfectant we use is rated "no rinse required on food contact surfaces” category D2, meaning it is approved for use in "commercial or residential kitchens to contact bacteria, viruses, and mold without the need to wash/rinse the area with water after they applied and dried.”

Does the disinfectant contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs)?
Nope!  It does not contain volatile organic compounds.
